Our goal is to support you in living as independently as possible while also assisting you in building important life skills. Here’s a detailed overview of the household tasks we can help you with, tailored to your individual needs and goals:

Household tasks include but are not limited to :

House cleaning

  • Routine Cleaning: Support workers can assist with regular cleaning tasks such as dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping floors, and cleaning windows.
  • Organising:  Help with organizing and decluttering living spaces, including closets and storage areas, to make your home more functional and accessible.

 Meal planning

  • Menu Creation: Assist with planning balanced and nutritious meal menus that cater to your dietary preferences and any specific health needs.
  • Grocery Shopping: Help with creating shopping lists and purchasing groceries, ensuring you have the ingredients needed for your planned meals.
  • Meal Preparation: Support in preparing meals, including cooking and portioning, while adhering to any dietary restrictions or preferences you may have.

Personal Care:

  • Provide assistance with personal care tasks , such as bathing, dressing, and grooming, ensuring your comfort and well-being.
  • Emotional Support: Offer companionship and emotional support, fostering a nurturing environment.
  • Supervision: Oversee the safety and daily activities , ensuring your needs are met and you are engaged in meaningful activities.

Banking and shopping

  •  Provide support with purchasing household items, clothing, and other personal necessities, either by accompanying you or handling the transactions on your behalf.

Minor home and yard, maintenance

  • Yard Work: Help with yard maintenance tasks including lawn mowing, weeding, and general tidying up of outdoor spaces.
  • Safety Checks: Conduct safety checks to identify and address potential hazards in and around your home, ensuring a safe living environment.

Who can access this service?

1. NDIS Participants:

  • Eligibility: To access services under the NDIS, you must be an approved NDIS participant. Eligibility is generally determined based on age, residency, and disability criteria. Specifically, you need to be under 65 years of age, be an Australian citizen, permanent resident, or a New Zealand citizen with a Protected Special Category Visa, and have a permanent and significant disability that impacts your ability to carry out daily activities.
  • Plan Approval: You need to have an approved NDIS plan which includes funding for support services like those provided by CURE CARE AUSTRALIA.

2. NDIS Plan Categories:

  • Core Supports: If your NDIS plan includes funding for Core Supports, you can access services related to daily living and household tasks, such as cleaning, meal planning, and minor maintenance.
  • Capacity Building Supports: If your NDIS plan includes funding for Capacity Building Supports, you may also access services that help build your skills and independence in managing household tasks and other daily activities.
  • Support Coordination: If you have Support Coordination in your plan, your coordinator can help you connect with service providers like CURE CARE AUSTRALIA to ensure that your household needs are met effectively.

3. Specific Needs and Goals:

  • Individual Requirements: Services are tailored to meet individual needs as outlined in your NDIS plan. This means that support workers will assist you based on the goals and needs identified in your plan, whether it involves general household maintenance or meal planning.

4. Service Access:
