Annah has over 21 years of experience as a registered nurse, with a career that began in the UK and continued in Australia. She has worked in hospital settings and academic institutions, contributing to nursing practice and education. In Sydney, she held teaching roles at several universities, supporting the development of future nurses. Her qualifications include advanced degrees in Critical Care Nursing, Clinical Nursing, and Clinical Teaching. She is currently pursuing a PhD focused on the care of people with dementia from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds. As co-founder of Cure Care Australia, Annah integrates her clinical, educational, and research experience into shaping the organisation’s approach to care. She is also involved in operational leadership, ensuring that the services provided meet the complex and individual needs of NDIS participants.
Spiwe brings over 20 years of registered nursing experience to her role as Clinical Director at Cure Care Australia, an organisation she co-founded. She oversees clinical operations, ensuring adherence to high standards of care while developing evidence-based protocols to enhance participant outcomes. With expertise in chronic disease management and experience in disability care, Spiwe also has extensive experience managing disability homes in NSW and QLD. She holds a Master’s degree in Nursing and is dedicated to training and mentoring the nursing staff, fostering a collaborative environment. Her commitment to advancing nursing practices and community health initiatives significantly contributes to the quality of care participants receive. Passionate about clinical excellence and improving participant experiences, Spiwe’s leadership is pivotal in driving Cure Care Australia’s mission forward.
Tia is a registered nurse and Clinical Services Manager at Cure Care Australia, bringing frontline experience and operational insight to her leadership role. With a Bachelor of Nursing from Griffith University, Tia has worked extensively across supported accommodation and community care. Previously serving as an Accommodation Manager, she led multidisciplinary teams, oversaw participant care, managed incidents, and ensured compliance with NDIS standards. Tia combines strong clinical skills with a commitment to person-centred care, supporting participants with dignity and empathy. Her role focuses on staff development, quality assurance, and strategic oversight of clinical services. Tia is known for her calm, solutions-focused approach, fostering collaboration among staff, families, and stakeholders. She remains dedicated to improving outcomes for participants while maintaining high standards of care and safety across services.
Gurmeet is an experienced Enrolled Nurse with over 14 years in healthcare, including more than five years in clinical nursing roles and a strong foundation in aged care and disability support. She holds a Diploma of Nursing from TAFE Queensland and maintains current AHPRA registration. At Cure Care Australia, Gurmeet serves as a Care Coordinator, overseeing participant care, supporting staff, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality, holistic services. Her clinical expertise includes dementia care, complex care planning, palliative care, and chronic disease management. Gurmeet is highly skilled in working across multidisciplinary teams and liaising with families and health professionals to support continuity of care. With a calm, solution-focused approach and a strong commitment to cultural competence, she is dedicated to improving health outcomes and supporting Cure Care’s mission of compassionate, person-centred service delivery.
Maggie is a Clinical Care Coordinator at Cure Care Australia with over 10 years of experience in aged care and 7 years in disability and community support. She is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Nursing and Midwifery and holds a Certificate IV in Aged Care and a Diploma in Early Childhood Education. Maggie has a strong background in complex care, including PEG/PEJ, catheter care, seizure management, and wound care. Her work focuses on coordinating care across SIL and SDA settings, supporting staff, and ensuring high standards of participant wellbeing. Known for her calm and resilient approach, Maggie fosters respectful, person-centred care while collaborating with families and allied health teams. Her leadership and commitment to choice, control, and dignity make her a valued member of the Cure Care Australia team.
Lawrence is a Compliance Manager at Cure Care Australia with a background in mental health nursing and a master’s degree in the field. His clinical experience in major Sydney hospitals sharpened his understanding of accreditation, audit preparation, and quality systems. Before nursing, Lawrence worked internationally as a tenders administrator, where he developed strong regulatory and documentation skills, foundational to his current compliance expertise. At Cure Care Australia, he ensures alignment with NDIA standards, overseeing policy development, risk assessments, internal audits, and incident reporting. He plays a key role in safeguarding participants and supporting staff training to meet NDIS requirements. Lawrence’s dual insight into mental health and regulatory frameworks supports a proactive approach to compliance and quality assurance, fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement across the organisation.
