Annah, with a career spanning over two decades in nursing, has demonstrated exceptional leadership and educational expertise in both the UK and Australia. Her 21-year tenure as a registered nurse includes significant roles in general nursing, both in bustling hospital environments and academic settings at universities in Sydney. Annah holds advanced degrees in Critical Care Nursing, Clinical Nursing, and Clinical Teaching, and is currently advancing her education with PhD studies focusing on nursing care for people living with dementia from CALD backgrounds. As a co-founder of Cure Care Australia, Annah not only brings her vast clinical knowledge but also her business leadership to the forefront, ensuring that care delivery is both empathetic and innovative. Her strategic vision and commitment to excellence play a crucial role in providing highly personalised care to each participant at Cure Care Australia.
Spiwe brings over 20 years of registered nursing experience to her role as Clinical Director at Cure Care Australia, an organisation she co-founded. She oversees clinical operations, ensuring adherence to high standards of care while developing evidence-based protocols to enhance participant outcomes. With expertise in chronic disease management and experience in disability care, Spiwe also has extensive experience managing disability homes in Sydney. She holds a Master’s degree in Nursing and is dedicated to training and mentoring the nursing staff, fostering a collaborative environment. Her commitment to advancing nursing practices and community health initiatives significantly contributes to the quality of care participants receive. Passionate about clinical excellence and improving participant experiences, Spiwe’s leadership is pivotal in driving Cure Care Australia’s mission forward.
Kimberley is a skilled and empathetic Client Engagement Officer at Cure Care Australia, with a passion for connecting with new clients and ensuring they feel supported during their transition to their Supported Independent Living accommodation. She excels in building strong relationships with clients, ensuring their needs are met as they settle into their new homes. Kimberley plays a key role in liaising with stakeholders, collaborating on client transitions, and ensuring a seamless integration into the Cure Care community. In addition to her role as Client Engagement Officer, Kimberley enjoys working as a support worker, where she delivers direct participant support in SIL homes or community settings—an aspect of her role she truly enjoys. Kimberley’s excellent interpersonal skills and dedication to providing personalised care make her a valuable asset to both clients and colleagues. Her ability to communicate effectively, along with her compassionate nature, ensures clients receive the best care and support at every step of their journey with Cure Care Australia.
Tia is both an Accommodation Manager and Registered Nurse (RN) at Cure Care Australia, where she plays a key role in managing Supported Independent Living (SIL) homes. In this capacity, Tia works closely with House Managers and Team Leaders to ensure that clients receive high-quality care in a supportive and well-managed environment. In addition to her management responsibilities, Tia brings her nursing expertise to the team. She is part of a larger group of RNs at Cure Care, where she provides vital clinical support and training to staff. Tia excels in teaching essential clinical skills such as catheterisation, PEG feeding, tracheostomy care, wound care, and nursing assessments. She is also highly skilled in conducting continence assessments, ensuring that care plans are tailored to meet each participant’s unique needs with respect and dignity. Tia’s blend of management experience and clinical knowledge makes her an invaluable asset to both the SIL homes she manages and the wider Cure Care team. Her compassionate and dedicated approach ensures that both participants and staff receive the best care possible.
Maureen is a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse with strong clinical expertise and leadership abilities. She began her career at Cure Care Australia as a support worker and, after completing her Bachelor of Nursing, advanced to her current role. As part of Cure Care’s growing nursing team, Maureen delivers essential clinical supports, including catheterisation, PEG feeding, wound care, and continence assessments. Her skills extend to care planning, medication management, and health monitoring, ensuring participants receive personalised, responsive care. In addition to her clinical role, Maureen coordinates participant care, working closely with families, allied health teams, and support staff to ensure seamless service delivery. Dedicated to patient advocacy and continuous improvement, Maureen stays informed on best practices, contributing to evidence-based care. Her empathetic, participant-focused approach enhances the lives of those she supports, reflecting Cure Care’s commitment to excellence, compassion, and innovation in disability services.
Gurmeet is an experienced Enrolled Nurse with over five years in the role and more than a decade of experience in aged care and disability support. She holds a nursing qualification from India and further acquired a Diploma in Nursing in Australia, allowing her to practice as an EN. Gurmeet’s extensive background in nursing homes has given her exceptional clinical skills, with expertise in dementia care, complex care management, palliative care, and diabetes management. As Care Coordinator at Cure Care Australia, Gurmeet oversees participant care, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, holistic services. She collaborates closely with families and allied health professionals while mentoring staff to enhance their skills and confidence. Gurmeet’s calm, solution-focused leadership supports smooth operations and excellent care outcomes. Her dedication to improving participant well-being reflects Cure Care’s mission of delivering compassionate, participant-focused NDIS services, making Gurmeet an invaluable asset to the team and those she supports.
Lawrence is an experienced Compliance Manager with a robust background in mental health nursing, holding a master’s degree in the field. His career spans large hospitals in Sydney, where he developed advanced compliance skills during hospital audits and accreditation processes. Prior to his nursing career in Australia, Lawrence worked as a tenders administrator overseas, a role that strengthened his attention to detail, regulatory knowledge, and ability to manage complex documentation—key attributes that now enhance his expertise in organisational compliance. At Cure Care Australia, Lawrence oversees the organisation’s compliance with NDIA standards, ensuring services align with regulatory requirements and best practices. His role includes managing policy development, risk assessments, and internal audits to uphold quality and safety. Lawrence also ensures staff training, incident reporting, and participant safeguarding meet NDIS guidelines. His comprehensive understanding of mental health and compliance fosters a culture of accountability, driving continuous improvement across the organisation’s services and operations.
