Our goal is to support you in living as independently as possible while also assisting you in building important life skills. Here’s a detailed overview of the household tasks we can help you with, tailored to your individual needs and goals

 

Household Tasks:

  • House Cleaning: Assist with regular cleaning tasks like dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and window cleaning.
  • Organizing: Help declutter and organize living spaces, closets, and storage areas.
  • Meal Planning: Support with creating balanced menus, grocery shopping, and meal preparation, considering dietary preferences and health needs.
  • Personal Care: Provide assistance with bathing, dressing, and grooming for comfort and well-being.
  • Emotional Support: Offer companionship and foster a nurturing environment.
  • Supervision: Ensure safety and oversee daily activities, keeping you engaged and supported.
  • Banking & Shopping: Assist with purchasing household items, clothing, and other necessities.
  • Minor Home & Yard Maintenance: Help with lawn care, weeding, and safety checks around your home.

Who Can Access This Service?

  1. NDIS Participants:

    • Must be under 65, an Australian citizen, permanent resident, or a New Zealand citizen with a Protected Special Category Visa.
    • Must have a permanent and significant disability affecting daily activities.
  2. NDIS Plan Categories:

    • Core Supports: Funding for household tasks like cleaning, meal planning, and minor maintenance.
    • Capacity Building Supports: Funding to develop independence in managing daily tasks.
    • Support Coordination: A coordinator can help connect you with services like CURE CARE AUSTRALIA.
  3. Specific Needs and Goals:

    • Services are tailored to meet the goals and needs in your NDIS plan.
  4. Accessing Services:

    • Contact CURE CARE AUSTRALIA directly or work with your NDIS planner or Support Coordinator to include these services in your plan.
  5. Review and Adjustments:

    • Periodic plan reviews allow for adjustments, including adding or modifying household support services.
